I do believe that I owe Mr. Turner an apology
Well, I decided to oppose Heath Shuler's Congressional campaign last year, and he ended up with an improbable win. This year, I figured it was a safe bet to make fun of Norv Turner, and the Chargers end up in the AFC Championship game. I obviously have the Midas touch -- whatever I make fun of turns to gold. Perhaps my next move will be to auction my ridicule services off to the highest bidder...
That's okay, they still have to WIN the AFC Championship game, so you have a chance to retain some dignity.
Besides, it's so easy to root against Norv. I was fascinated by his press conference after the game. He seemed flustered and overwhelmed even there. Does this man get anxiety attacks trying to figure out how many sugars to put in his coffee in the morning? It really seems like he might.

Noooo!
Don't quit now! You could parlay your unique "talent" for one more blog post to ensure that somehow the Chargers, led by the Norvalous one, defeat the Patriots so that you would truely earn the lifelong scorn of your dear friend Simmons by ensuring the continuing "legacy" of the 72 Dolphins.
But what do I know? I'm a lifelong Skins fan.

Norv is bulletproof. When the Pats slaughter them, his apologists will claim the injuries never gave them a chance. I enjoyed your site, and am glad to find someone to share my bewilderment over the popularity of this guy. Peace.

If not this year, then at some point Norv may be the best the Chargers ever had.
Only Bobby Ross' Chargers won 2 playoff games in a row. No Chargers head coach has won more than 3 playoff games total during their time with the Chargers.

A lot of it has to do with Marty. This group has been the best that the Chargers have ever had (imagine, a real cornerback too!!). If Marty had won that game vs. NE last year, this would have all been moot.
Now, Turner must be given *gulp* credit for that Colts game, since the calling I think was great and they were motivated.
If...the biggest IF in Bolt history...they can beat NE today. Well, give Norv a raise. Amazing.

You have done wonderful work here my friend. I too was humiliated after the Chargers victories this year. I held a weekly ritual this year in my office on Monday mornings, a pow-wow of people huddled around my computer watching Norv squirm during his post-game press conference as we viewed it on the Chargers website.
I crushed Norv all year, and feel a legitimate disappointment at his success this year, to a point where its put a damper on my entire football season.
Nevertheless, we all know AJ Smith and the players are running this team, and Norv is just reading formations like he always did here in Washington. He is still trash. You, on the other hand, can always create another blog. Thanks thecoachiskillingme.com for a lot of great laughs this year.
